Yes. Donors should consult their tax advisor for questions regarding deductibility.

Is Alder Tree a registered charity?

Yes. Alder Tree Giving is recognized as a public charity under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3). Alder Tree Giving’s EIN is 822602184 and its New York State registration number is 46-60-87. A copy of the Alder Tree determination letter is available upon request.  

will alder tree giving operate a program in my town if I have an event or program idea?

Yes! If you have a compelling event or program idea within Alder Tree Giving’s mission statement that is approved by the Alder Tree Giving Board of Directors, we will work with you to fund and operate your event.
